Prerequisite Training Class — FERPA Online Training

To allow access to student records in ConnectCarolina the UNC-CH faculty/staff member will need to complete the FERPA online training module.

Note: You will not be allowed to register for a training class or have access to student records in ConnectCarolina without successfully completing the FERPA online training module.

Gaining Access to Pages and Tables in ConnectCarolina

Once you have completed a Student Records/Schedule of Classes training class a Registrar’s staff member will submit a Remedy ticket to the ConnectCarolina security team. This ticket will request the appropriate security for your position.

Note: Access is normally granted within 24 hours of the Remedy Tickets submission. Occasionally access can take longer.
