About the Training Area

The goal of the Registrar’s training area is to plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver training to users of the information housed within the Student Records Component and Course Schedule Maintenance system of the Student Information System database. Furthermore, the position is responsible for delivering training programs for the web systems that contain student and course data.

The position trains a broad audience made up of deans, department chairs, faculty, academic advisors, and other administrative support positions of the University community approved to access and use the Student Information System database and related web applications. The secondary purpose of this position is to deliver internal training programs to new staff and provide for training to existing staff when new software and/or systems are acquired for the department.
