UPM # 12 – Tuition Waiver for Older Students

Effective Date: September, 2009

PURPOSE

This memorandum is published in order to update information regarding the previous policy and procedures concerning the waiver of tuition for students 65 and older.

Budget legislation passed for fiscal year 2009-10 repealed the tuition waiver for legal residents of North Carolina who have attained the age of 65.

Effective Fall, 2009, this benefit is no longer available.
