The answer is false!
If all enrollment needs to be dropped for a term, your registration needs to be cancelled. However, if you are enrolled in one class and want to change into a different class, you can SWAP.
The swap feature allows you to keep your spot in an enrolled class, until you successfully swap into another class. Check it out on your Student Center at Enroll > Swap, or YouTube it.
Tip: If you want to change a recitation only but keep your lecture, it’s best to use Enroll > Edit.
