These dates are crucial for ensuring that courses are accurately represented and available for student registration.

25Live

25Live is a program used by the Office of the University Registrar (OUR) Scheduling and academic departments to assign rooms to classes. Assignments made in 25Live display in ConnectCarolina. Departments may assign classes to departmental rooms or scheduling-priority general-purpose classrooms (GPCs) in 25Live during Course Schedule Maintenance (CSM). OUR Scheduling uses 25Live to automatically place classes into GPCs during the room assignment period, a process called “optimization.”

General-purpose classrooms are rooms that can be used by any department, and they are supported by the University Registrar’s Office and Classroom Hotline.

25Live is also used to request on-campus events.

Department Administrators seeking access to schedule rooms for class meetings must complete the 25Live for Academic Schedulers training in Carolina Talent. Please email scheduling_office@registrar.unc.edu once the training session has been completed.

Students, faculty, and other staff

You must take the 25Live Requester Training & Access module through Reserve Carolina for access.
