Summer II Undergraduate Students Last Day to Drop
Last day for undergraduate students to drop a Summer II class (no refund).
Fall Billing and Pre‐payment Period Begins
Tuition bills are posted for all students registered by this date. Enrolled students not registered before this date must pre¬pay or provide proof of financial aid prior to registering. Refer to Important Dates online at cashier.unc.edu.
Summer 2021 Graduate Dissertations and Theses Due:
Electronic dissertations and theses for August graduation candidates must be submitted to the Graduate School by 4 PM for review and approval.
Summer II Graduate Students Last Day to Drop

Official Class and Grade Rosters Available
Official Grade Rosters for Summer II are available in ConnectCarolina. Grades are due 72 hours after the exam is given and must be posted in ConnectCarolina.
Undergraduate Open Registration Begins
All students can register or make registration adjustments in ConnectCarolina. Undergraduate maximum credit limit increases to 18 credits for full‐time students.
Waitlist Additions End
Last day for students to add themselves to a class waitlist in ConnectCarolina.
Degree Award Date
Date recorded for August 2021 degree recipients.
New Student Convocation
Undergraduate student convocation is held.
Classes and Late Registration Begin
Main campus session A classes begin for all students. Late registration fee is charged for new enrollment.
Undergraduate Class Drop (No Record) Period Ends 5PM
Last day for students or schools/dept. to drop a class in ConnectCarolina and reduce course load, with tuition adjusted and no record of the class. Full time students must maintain 12 credit hours.
Official University Enrollment Reporting Date (Census Date) 5PM
Enrollment credit hours at census are used in Financial Aid's Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) calculation.
Undergraduate Class Drop (On Record) Period Begins
